I have been thinking about changing my SST fluid myself.
From what I have seen online if you can change engine oil and filter you can change your SST fluid and filter as well?

I am starting to see more and more references to the internal filter on the SST. How hard is it to get at and change these filters?

2012 should still be under warranty.
If you have been having it serviced at Mitsubishi it should have road side assist.

I have seen this on an es Lancer. A few days after the message came up the battery was dead. New battery fixed the problem.
