Hi everyone, Just got my lancer vrx this week. So I thought I would hop on here.
Just touching it up from the previous seller (done wheel alignment for new tires they got, washed car and shampooed interior. Next on the list is service and getting rid of some really minor dents and scratches).
Real first name: Jack
Location: Park Holme, Adelaide
Model: VR-X CJ MY09
Colour: Black
General interests: Gaming, Physics, cars.
Current mods: none
Planned mods: any performance based mods that are worth it (any suggestions?)
How you found out about ClubCJ: google the god.
Thanks.

				Welcome to Clubcj.
The best performance mod by far is a tune. But you are best to tune your car after you have fitted all your mods. Most are over priced for little gain. This all depends on what you want. I personally have full exhaust and headers, upgraded to a ralliart cold air intake. I get around a 25% power gain and the best part better fuel economy.
Be very careful of manufacturers claiming power increases for their products that are false, especially on cold air intakes.

Cheers for the advice, I think in the future ill probably look at what I can do with intake, exhaust and then a tune. I'm having fun driving it atm tho, I love how it handles.

Try to come on a cruise and you can see other members cars.
They handle even better with some suspension modifications like thicker sway bars and coilovers

				Welcome!
Probably a good thing you could do is put in a bottle of Nulon Fuel System Cleaner (this is NOT the same as cheap fuel injector cleaner) and fill the tank, and go for a long highway drive up to maybe Port Pirie or something and back. A long highway drive is a good thing to do to the car at least occasionally. If it has had only city driving for a long time you will actually notice it will drive better after doing this

. So, that would be the first 'performance mod' you can do!
