Short Shift Advice

Just wondering what the latest news on short shifters is for my VRX.
I understand the shifter is the same for all manual CJ Lancers.

I've seen some cheap ones on eBay around the $60 make but are they worth it and do they come with less parts?

Is there an Short Shifter FYI or DIY on the site?
