I'd love to get rid of my front plate entirely but of course they are legally required in all Aust states AFAIK.
A side bumper mounting is the only other alternative.
The only reason mine is on that side is because part of the bottom grill is acually blocked off. so a bit extra, ie, my licence plate aint gunna hurt it. I was planning on getting the RRM side moun kit but its the wrong size for the aussie plates.

tadz is right about the grill being blocked off down the bottom there anyway, that's why I put mine there... it's only on one side tho, can't understand ppl putting it on the right (looking at the car front on) it DOES block a lot of the radiator if u put it there....

I wanna get a side-mount for the plate... maybe I can whip one up at work... I still don't like the idea of blocking ANY of the radiator... had bad experiences with overheating in the last car... I fear it... lol
