Noticed somewhere in the forums a complaints about lack of space for your fingers under the boot lid to open it.
Well for those that haven't discovered it yet, there is a lot more space in the corners!

Or get a wing fitted and lift where it bolts to the boot

Before I put a spoiler on my LX, I used to use the chrome piece that goes along the bottom of my boot. And well in my Ralliart, the hatch has the luxury of an easy latch

I just put a clear vynil protective strip on top of the bumper so my fingers don't scratch the paint

A while back when I first got my CJ I asked if any of the auto open systems you find in some cars now can be retro fitted to the CJ sedan, short answer is yes, if you have a lot of money to spend on the car to design and engineer it.
I used to have a strip of carbon look wrap on the top edge, as you can see in the photo, after the crash (not my fault) I got one of those stainless metal strips with Lancer written in the middle (eBay).

				You could retrofit gas lifters.

I've heard of some fitting stronger gas struts or adding springs which help in the lift, no sure how it affects closing the boot.

That's what I meant. I guess it depends on how strong they are. Upgraded gas lifters are probably easier
