				Hail damage ... sad story

So I shot off after work today to head down to the coast for a quick skim, but ended up stuck in gridlock traffic while a storm crossed over dumping golfball sized hail on my car

Seriously had to be one of the most traumatic 10 minutes of my life before I managed to pull off under a bridge. Sounded terrible.
I think I got out of it pretty lightly, only found one dent on the bonnet so far which should come out ok with some paintless dent removal company, but still a sad story. F-you mother nature.

I was almost caught in this also mate, got home from work and not 5 minutes later had some fairly decent sized hail. Would be the worst feeling sitting in the car and knowing you couldnt do anything about it

That sux, unfortunatly when a storm hits like that, you have to be in the right place at the right time to escape the hail. Being stuck in traffic makes you a sitting duck unless your near a underpass. Thats when underpass rage kicks in with every motorist trying to escape the hail. Hope you get your hail damage fixed soon

It is the worst feeling when you are sitting there, can't see crap, can hear really loud bangs all over the car and wondering if the windows will hold up...and everyone who was lucky enough to be in the underpass about 20m infront of you simply stops...

I wouldn't be here if my previous car didn't get written off in the big hail storm in Perth this year, so I guess sometimes there is a silver lining.

Found another dent in one of my doors, but it's not too bad. Also saw they had tennisball sized hail out at Crestmead, so yeah ... pretty lucky really.

That sucks. I was caught in Melbourne's hailstorm earlier in the year, guess you can say I came out of it quite well, cause I now have a Lancer
