I was just wondering if it is worth getting a strut bar because my mate send me a link to this one :
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WHITELINE-MI ... _528wt_905
and i dont know if it is worth it. Just thought i would check with you lot.
If you think it is worth it and know of better ones let me know and i might get one.

I have never driven my car without one but what I have been told they do make a big difference.
I would think that is a little expensive, but it is a very nice looking top strut brace.

You can get the ultra racing top strut brace for cheaper but it does not look as nice as that one IMHO.
If you look around you may find a Ultra racing for about $120.

I would suggest the Alutec top Strut bar instead if you're buying the Whiteline one. You can pick one up from RPW.
The UltraRacing one is as Troy mentioned available for A$120 delivered if you look hard enough.

i got lucky and got the utra racing bar for $50 from Kyrus, who was parting out his lancer, and a better $50 I havent spent. Cuts out front end flex, makes turn in sharper and feels more solid. Highly recommended.

Having driven our Lancers with and without one, I have to say that they do make a difference. The feel of the car cornering is better with it

I added a VRX strut bar to my now ex-VR - it did make a bit of a difference to turn-ins. Funny though - not all 'sporty' or good drivers cars come with strut bars? I assume its because the chasis is so stiff anyway you don't need one.
