RECALL?

Anyone got a letter regarding a recall on the 4B11's and 12's?? Due to some inappropriate material used in the ribbed belt on the engine?

Yes that started about a year ago.
Just call them, it's a free check/replacement of the parts and will just take a few hours of your time.

i did mine end of last year it is also the pully is well i had both replaced only too them an hour and abit etc

Called them and they said they'll call me back when they get parts. Which will probably be next week

Mine's scheduled in for the 16th. Got the letter, sent certified and everything too.

It is strange how some are now getting letters, guess they are using rego records and VIN numbers to find owners of used CJ Lancers affected.
I never got a certificate, when I found out just before buying mine I told the sales person but they did nothing or didn't pass the message on so just a week after picking up my 'new' car I got it checked.
