REMOVING REAR VISION MIRROR

thinking of putting a reversing camera attached to or replaced on my rear vision mirror not sure if the mirror will slide of or will i have to break the glue ? :shock: javascript:emoticon(':)')

Ray here is a picture of the rear view mirror from the service manual. I hope that helps.

they have to come off any in case of a prang

There's no glue, just pop the cover off with a screwdriver and slide it off.

there is no glue unless you want to remove the metal peice under it that mounts it to the glass. then you have too remove the glue and cant do that without braking the glass. ^ just do what Troy said :)
