What an unbelievable site !! some very talented people on here

im a noob , massively hopeless noob with mods

recently picked up blue sportsback platinum edition

love it

prior to that owned a 2000 VRX lancer

would love to do the chrome grill, black vinyl and foglamp mods but too scared to ruin my new baby

yeah its a nice car

the leather interior is nice and the added specs above the ES are good too.

its a little bit rattly on the left B pillar and the boot somewhere and i have somehow managed to blow the left front speaker in less than 4 weeks.

ive done 3500kms in 4 weeks too - YIKES !!

engine is louder / whinier than my 12 year old VRX Lancer but i suspect that is due to the larger engine bay/exhaust intake area behind the front dash (im driving manual not the awful cvt) - not as much noise insulation etc ??

overall very happy with it though

thanks for all the welcome guys - i dont think i can resist starting my first mod very soon - being the black vinyl and chrome surround on the front - it just looks so much better than standard front - would also like to get front air dams and fog lamps

i have no doubt i will stuff it up and wreck the paint or something

I have a couple of black pre-cut vinyls done by Lukeaday, was supposed to be put on my previous CJ, but since I upgraded to the RA, they're just sitting in storage.

Let me know if you want them and I will ship them to you at a friendly price.
