Hey guys just thought i'd introduce myself, my names Jake and I'm from Adelaide. I own a white 2012 Lancer VRX and I'm sure i'll be looking to do a few mods in the near future. I'm don't know much/anything about car mechanics so it will be good to have a forum of people who can help with any queries.

I do have a question straight off the bat. When i have the a/c on and the fan is going there seems to be a lot of noise coming from the front of the car. Not sure how I'd explain it but its not clunky or high pitch whiney more of a 'vvvvvvv' sound :? . It seems unusually loud but I don't know if it's just me being paranoid. Any input appreciated sorry about the bad explanation haha

Don't worry, that's just your air conditioner fan - it's normal! :-D it'll cycle on & off once the cabin has reached the correct temperature; while the car's moving, the fan isn't required and will shut down...

I live down south guys, Morphett Vale area :).
thanks Zaphod, it just seems so loud when im stopped at lights I always turn off my a/c haha

I don't have that issue with the A/C fan. My exhaust covers up all those annoying noises. :P

u might see me floating around the place i live at hackham west so u might a red vrx with a decal on the back saying HER VRX on it :P
